North West Branch Meeting (May 2011)
The next North West Branch Meeting of the NADJ takes place on Tuesday 31st  May 2011 at Upton by Chester British Legion, Heath Road, Upton by Chester, CH2 1HX.  There will be a local retailer attending from Stoke and American DJ representative that supplies many of the brands that working DJs use week in week out.
There may also be 2 guest DJs looking for new faces to help them out with bookings in the future in the area.
We are expecting a good selection of members (and non-members, who are thinking about joining the National Association of Disc Jockeys).  The meeting is open to all DJs and many attendees have gone on to join the Association when they see the benefits they receive with membership and also the great networking opportunities.
Bring a friend and don't forget to bring BIG FAT WALLET!
Please arrive nice and early - 7pm would be great!
For more information please contact one of the Branch Committee members:

Bugger, I'm sitting here in camp reading this at 7pm on Tuesday night! A quick shower and a race up the road, I guess I could be there for around 8!

Go on Leslie... you know you can make it.

I'm sure the boys won't mind you being a few minutes late. I'm sure that they will forgive you when they find out that you've dashed over to see them.

Good luck!

Well, here I'm back and I enjoyed the evening. Introductions over, Peter Lockwood had his say, interesting and humerous as always, and then demonstrations from SC Sound & Lighting from Stoke on Trent. It was good to meet a few more like minded people and I came away £109 lighter after purchasing a brilliant Lanta RGY180 laser.
Wonder how much I'll spend next time?? Please don't tell the Mrs what I've done! lol

Great to hear that you enjoyed the evening Leslie.

Peter is as down to Earth as you can get, but humorous... never! :-)

There was a demonstration of Lanta products at the recent Yorkshire Branch Meeting and I know a few items were exchanged for hard earned cash. They had some fantastic LED lights that could replace the LED par can for up-lighting projects and there were only about 100 of them in the whole of the UK - some of them were snapped up by the attendees for an incredible 'NADJ Member Only' price.

Tell the wife what exactly???

Hide the laser in the boot of the car until you can find a safe place for the box. If she asks where the new light on your rig has appeared from, tell her that it's always been there and that you're a bit offended that she hadn't noticed it before :-)

Please keep an eye on this branch page for more updates from the branch Committee.
