BPM/PRO, PLASA London & Membership Renewals:
The excitement is building for the key representatives of the National Association of Disc Jockeys (NADJ) who are attending BPM/PRO 2016 at the Genting Arena in Birmingham this weekend. The volunteers are giving up work (including income), their time with their family and opportunities to administer their DJ business, to represent the Association at industry events that our members believe we should attend.
All of the prep work is in place and now the clock is ticking down for Alan Marshall, Fabio Capozzi and Brian Jones who are the three elected National Committee members who are all manning the stand for the full three days of the event.
We've got assistance from Pete Hawkins, Sue Crean and Steven Honeyball plus a few members who have come forward to help the team out on each day of the show.
All we need is you... yes, YOU! The Professional DJ to see us on stand AX14 at BPM/PRO 2016 Show.
Our members were given an opportunity to get free entry to the event as a benefit of their NADJ membership and we know that this has proven to be very popular. Worry not though, if you haven’t yet applied for your ticket – you still just about have time! You have until 8pm on Thursday 8th September 2016 to apply for this benefit (NADJ free ticket registration deadline). As always the link is on the Members menu once you've logged in.
There's no rest for the team because straight after the BPM/PRO 2016 show, the team will be packing up the stand and preparing to set it up again just a week later at the PLASA show in London from the 18th – 20th September - "Busy," just doesn't come close to describing what the volunteers who run the Association are doing.
So, get out there to these industry events fellow DJs and make a beeline to see your elected team.
MEMBERSHIP APPLICATIONS & RENEWALS:
As the team of volunteers who run the National Association of Disc Jockeys (NADJ) are attending the BPM/PRO2016 show and then the PLASA London Show - all new or renewing membership applications will be put on hold. From 6pm on Friday 9th September until we return on Wednesday 14th September and again from 6pm on Friday 16th September through to our return on the 21st September. DJs wishing to join or members who want to renew their subscriptions will only be processed when the team are in the office so please plan ahead.
An e-mail will be sent to all NADJ members whose membership subscriptions lapse during the period that we are away and they will be encouraged to renew in advance of the deadline.
If you let your membership lapse, all associated benefits will stop and they cannot be backdated.
