 All members of the NADJ and their partners are formally invited the New Year Social Event that's being hosted by the Wales branch of the National Association of Disc Jockeys. DJs from across the country may still be finishing off the late Christmas parties in January, so the event is being held on Sunday 5th February 2012.
The NADJ Wales Party will be held at The Holiday Inn at The Coldra, Newport, NP18 2YG and the full NADJ National Committee will be at this event because there will be a National Executive Committee meeting the following day at The Holiday Inn. The party will also have some great educational content at the start with a master-class from Helen Lee on Social/Viral Networking and her husband, Richard, will be finding out what you want from Mastermix. There are talks of about a special Mastermix Wales CD with the help of our members. After the break for food, the social part of the night begins with the entertainment being provided by Richard Lee and the NADJ Chairman, Paul Arnett!
Here is the provisional itinerary: - Dr Helen Lee's Viral Networking Surgery (4.00pm to 7.00pm): A one to one consultation with Helen Lee from Mastermix. This exclusive session has been setup for you to discuss any personal problems you may have with internet promotion, viral marketing and viral networking. This will be strictly by appointment only, as with all good surgeries!
- Mastermix Brainstorming Session (6.00pm to 7.30pm): A workshop to discuss what DJs want in the way of megamixes, extended mixes, mash-ups and DJ compilations with Richard Lee, the Mastermix/Music Factory Label Manager.
- Hot Buffet Dinner (8.30pm): The meal will include Chicken Curry, Beef Bourguignon, Vegetarian Lasagne, Rice, Chips and Garlic Bread at £15.00 per person.
- Musical Mayhem with Richard Lee and Paul Arnett (9.30pm to Midnight): Interactive fun and games for all. This will be all about participating and having fun!
- Late Night Stories and Anecdotes (in the bar from Midnight).
Paul Thompson (NADJ Wales Vice-chair) has negotiated a special rate for accommodation on the night of the New Year Social Event. Overnight accommodation and breakfast for up to two people is only £48. To get this special rate you must book directly with the hotel and pay in advance. This rate is for a maximum of two people sharing a suite and is for the night of Sunday 5th February only.
