Improper Use Of The NADJ Logo

The NADJ Logo is copyrighted and only Full Members are permitted to use the logo on their promotional materials. The NADJ is clamping down on those unscrupulous DJs who are not members and who try to gain kudos with their potential customers.

So time for a rant then... we've been doing some investigations regarding improper use of our logo on websites where the DJ hasn't been a member since 2008 etc., or they've never been a member at all.
There was a lot, more than I expected.
As our logo is copyrighted if we get no joy, then we'll be contacting the hosting companies involved to have the content/site removed.  I hate having to be the heavy handed but it really gets my back up on behalf of our membership, as we try our damnedest to be the best we can for our members.
We try to promote them as much as we can and then some companies come along and use the logo without any commitment or support for the NADJ, just to gain some ill gotten kudos off the back of our hard work.
We also found some photoshopped insurance documentation with our logo on it, well, good look claiming on that one!

So ASAP this is what we'd like all our members to do:

1: If you're still using the old logo (the blue one), change it for the new one now, (it's on the website in the 'Members' section) or use the 'badge' in the Let's Get Social article.

2: Link the logo you use to your profile, its easy, the link needs to take the form of http://www.nadj.org.uk/M199, where you'd replace M199 (which is mine!) with your own membership number, it links directly to your profile, showing the public you are a verified member.
Your profile page also shows that you have provided documents to show that you have valid PAT tested equipment and that the insurance you receive as a benefit of membership is in place.

Can't remember your membership number?
Check your membership ID card or your insurance documents for it.

3: Let us know if you believe anyone is using the logo without permission.

4: Make sure your profile details are up to date on the website, so we can use those details to help promote you.

This year the NADJ is all about pushing the Association as a brand to the general public, I hate for us to do a ton of work just to have some non-members reap the rewards with no effort on their part whatsoever.

Rant over, as you were.
