NADJ Chairman News

We've listened to feedback from our members and we have worked on making the 'Find A DJ' section of the website more appealing.

All members are advised to visit their Online Profile to make sure that they are aware of their Membership, PAT and PLI expiry dates.  You are also encouraged to add as much relevant information as possible to sell your services to potential customers.  The NADJ can highlight your membership status, but you must sell yourself to the public.

Visitors to your Online Profile can send you a message through the NADJ website, so please make sure that your e-mail address is up-to-date.

Mark Porley Steps Down As Chairman

The NADJ Chairman, Mark Porley, having lost his father earlier this year, and his mother having had multiple strokes recently, has decided to step down from his role of Chairman in order to devote his time to his family during these difficult times.

In the interim leading up to the AGM in April 2011 it has been deemed necessary to install an Acting Chairman and Mark has asked Paul Arnett (the current Branch Development Officer) to step into this role.

Once again thanks to Richard from Mastermix, Simon from Discotechnology for his continued support and all the exhibitors that gave up their time to come and do this event. We hope it was worthwhile for everyone involved.

NADJ Website & Rebranding

A short time ago, the NADJ announced that a new website was under construction.  We thought that this would be up and running by now, but technical issues with the user and membership database have forced us to keep using the existing website.

The NADJ website will get a revamp in-line with the updated logo and it will feature the new colour scheme that's already featured in the new logo.  Sadly the busy Christmas and New Year season is almost upon us and this will put a lot of strain on the volunteers that administer the day to day running of the Association.

The team behind the NADJ are working hard on several projects and each person on the Committee has skills in different areas.  We are working on enhancing and bringing new features to the branch meetings and a prime example of this is the special tie-up with Richard Lee and his team at Mastermix (The NADJ and Mastermix Join Forces article).
