Wales Summer BBQ

The Wales Branch of the NADJ held their annual Summer BBQ at How Caple Grange on Tuesday 10th August 2010. The event was a huge success and it combined good food, fun, games, activities for the children (and big kids) and great company.

The summer fun day was put together by the Wales Branch Committee members, who consist of:

Justin Banwell - NADJ Wales Branch Chairman
Paul Thompson - NADJ Wales Vice-Chairma
Mark Weller - NADJ Wales Branch Chairman
Brian Jones - NADJ Wales Treasure

NADJ member Tim Trott of How Caple Grange did his best Manuel impression and was a fantastic host. Highlights of the show included the Acting NADJ Chairman being tripped up and thrown into a forward roll during one of the games, plenty of lemonade being consunmed, the inflatable bouncy castle, the great selection of songs, the music quiz, a prize draw and many more fun activities.

John Forbes, Acting NADJ Chairman said: "I'd like to thank the NADJ Wales Committee for putting on such a great show and I thoroughly enjoyed the event. It was quite a journey for me to get over to Ross on Wye, but it was well worth it and I was more than happy to take up the invitation to meet some of the NADJ members from one of our most pro-active and well established branches.

"I'm still recovering from being tripped up in one of the games, but the emphasis on this meeting was on fun and there was plenty of that to go around."
