New Years Eve Availability

The focus now seems to be who is free on New Year’s Eve.  So don't forget to update your availability because if you are free, someone out there may be desperate for your services!  If you've not already contacted me to add your availability, please do so as soon as possible, time is very limited.

New Year Social Event (Sunday 5th February 2012)

We have some exciting plans in place for the New Year!  The NADJ Wales Party will be held at The Holiday Inn at The Coldra, Newport, NP18 2YG.  DJs and their partners going to join us from all over the country.  We will have the full NADJ National Committee at this event because there will be a National Executive Committee meeting the following day at The Holiday Inn.

  Here is the provisional itinerary: 

• Dr Helen Lee's Viral Networking Surgery (4.00pm to 7.00pm): A one to one consultation with Helen Lee from Mastermix.  This exclusive session has been setup for you to discuss any personal problems you may have with internet promotion, viral marketing and viral networking.  This will be strictly by appointment only, as with all good surgeries!
• Mastermix Brainstorming Session (6.00pm to 7.30pm): A workshop to discuss what DJs want in the way of megamixes, extended mixes, mash-ups and DJ compilations with Richard Lee, the Mastermix/Music Factory Label Manager.
• Hot Buffet Dinner (8.30pm): The meal will include Chicken Curry, Beef Bourguignon, Vegetarian Lasagne, Rice, Chips and Garlic Bread at £15.00 per person.
• Musical Mayhem with Richard Lee and Paul Arnett (9.30pm to Midnight): Interactive fun and games for all.  This will be all about participating and having fun!
• Late Night Stories and Anecdotes (in the bar from Midnight). 

  Special rates on accommodation are available via Paul Thompson, but that's just a sample of the event.  Further details of the arrangements will be released in due course.

First Meeting of 2012 (Tuesday 10th January 2012)

Welcoming in the New Year with our first meeting of 2012!  The branch meeting will be held in the Board Room (by the main entrance) at The University of Wales Caerleon Campus, NP18 3QT.  Expect the usual balance of educational content, networking, toys, gear and banter.  There will no doubt be a few tales of woe after Christmas! How was it for you? For detailed content and an agenda you will have to wait until early new year!
